Arokodare warns Barcelona ahead of Lookman visit

Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare has warned Barcelona to be wary of Ademola Lookman when Atlético Madrid travel to Camp Nou, insisting the Nigerian winger can decide big matches on his own.
Lookman, who recently joined Atlético Madrid and has already made an impact in Spain, is expected to feature in the clash against the Catalan giants after a strong start with Diego Simeone’s side. The 26-year-old attacker has quickly become a key attacking option thanks to his pace and direct style.
Arokodare believes his international teammate can trouble Barcelona’s defence. “Lookman is a special player and he loves the big stage,” he said. “If Barcelona give him space, he will punish them.”
The Genk forward also praised Lookman’s recent form. “He’s confident and playing with freedom right now,” Arokodare added. “When he’s like that, he’s very difficult to stop.”
Atlético will hope Lookman’s pace and creativity can tilt the contest in their favour when they face Barcelona in one of the most anticipated fixtures of the round.
