Barcelona Fans Demand Osimhen as Plan A — Not Backup to Alvarez

Barca fans have had enough of the Plan B talk.

Reports linking Victor Osimhen to Barcelona have framed the Super Eagles striker as an alternative to primary target Julián Álvarez. The fanbase isn’t having it. “Victor Osimhen will always be Plan A in my book,” one wrote. “This should be a Plan A. He’s a proper striker and lethal,” said another.

The numbers back them up. Osimhen has 19 goals and 7 assists in 29 appearances for Galatasaray this season. Sporting director Deco is reportedly a firm admirer, and Barcelona are said to be willing to offer up to €100 million. The sticking point is his salary — Osimhen would need to trim his wage demands to fit within the club’s financial limits.

Álvarez or Osimhen. One way or another, Barcelona need a striker. And the fans have already made their choice.
