Chiellini explains why Juventus won’t sign Osimhen

Former Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini has ruled out any chance of the club signing Victor Osimhen, explaining that a move for the Napoli striker does not fit Juventus’ long-term strategy. Chiellini made the comments this week while addressing transfer speculation around the Super Eagles star.
According to Chiellini, Juventus avoid deals that strengthen direct domestic rivals. “Juventus will never sign Osimhen from Napoli,” he said, stressing that “certain transfers are simply not part of our culture.” He added that financial demands and rivalry considerations also play a role.
Osimhen, who fired Napoli to the Serie A title and remains one of Europe’s most prolific forwards, has been linked with several top clubs. A Serie A analyst noted that “Juventus prefer to look abroad rather than negotiate with rivals for marquee names.”
Chiellini’s remarks appear to shut the door on speculation, even as Osimhen’s future continues to dominate transfer discussions.
