Ex-United star urges Man Utd to sign Ndidi

A former Manchester United player has urged the club to move for Wilfred Ndidi, backing the Nigerian midfielder as an ideal fit for the Premier League giants. The call was made this week amid United’s search for reinforcements in midfield.
The ex-Red Devil praised Ndidi’s defensive awareness and consistency, saying he would bring balance to the side. “Ndidi gives you control and protection,” he said, adding that the midfielder is “built for the Premier League.”
Ndidi, a regular for Leicester City and Nigeria, remains one of the league’s most reliable ball-winners, averaging strong tackle and interception numbers over recent seasons. A former United coach told local media that “United lack a natural shield, and Ndidi solves that problem.”
With United expected to reshape their squad, Ndidi’s name continues to surface as a practical option rather than a marquee gamble.
