Fulham Move Closer to Making Chukwueze Signing Permanent for €24 Million

Samuel Chukwueze came on loan. He may not be going back.
Fulham are closing in on a permanent deal for the Nigerian winger, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting the London club intends to trigger the buy option in his loan agreement — paying AC Milan €24 million to make the transfer official. His Milan contract runs until 2028, but Fulham have seen enough.
In 17 Premier League appearances, Chukwueze has contributed 3 goals and 4 assists under Marco Silva. Not always a starter. Not always without injury — a calf problem cost him five matches across competitions. But when he plays, the impact is there. The pace. The directness. The creativity that made him one of Africa’s most exciting wide players during his Villarreal years.
Fulham aren’t rushing in blind. The fitness concern is real and the fee isn’t small. But Silva clearly wants him — and at 24 million euros for a winger of his quality and age, the numbers make sense for a club with Premier League ambitions.
Chukwueze went to Fulham to prove himself after a difficult spell at Milan. Three goals and four assists later, the argument has been made.
