Nigeria Return to Defend Unity Cup Title Against Jamaica, Zimbabwe and India

Nigeria will defend their Unity Cup title in South London this May, facing Jamaica, Zimbabwe and India in the four-nation tournament scheduled for May 26-30 at The Valley — Charlton Athletic’s stadium.
The Super Eagles won the 2025 edition and arrive as favourites again. NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau made clear the title defence is the priority. “The Super Eagles will look to retain their title again this summer, even as they will not underrate the other participating teams,” he said.
Semi-finals pit Nigeria against Zimbabwe and Jamaica against India, setting up a potential Nigeria-Jamaica final — the standout narrative of the competition.
Beyond football, the Unity Cup doubles as a diaspora celebration and cultural festival. One of the summer’s most anticipated events for African football fans in the UK.
