Osimhen Makes World Team of Week After Title-Clinching Brace

Victor Osimhen has been named in the World Team of the Week after scoring twice to help Galatasaray come from behind and beat Antalyaspor 4-2, sealing a fourth consecutive Turkish Süper Lig title in the process. The Nigerian striker earned a 9.1 rating from Flashscore for the performance at Rams Park.
Osimhen had been quiet for much of the match, but delivered when it counted most. He converted a penalty on 66 minutes to get Galatasaray back into the contest, then settled it with a 88th-minute winner. It was his 15th league goal of the season in 21 appearances — and it came with the title on the line.
The win also confirmed Galatasaray’s place in next season’s UEFA Champions League group stage. Osimhen joins Lionel Messi (9.8 rating, 1 goal and 2 assists for Inter Miami) and Manchester City’s Jeremy Doku in the global team of the week.
