Ozoh Confirms Derby Exit With Super Eagles Decision Still Looming

David Ozoh is leaving Derby County. Two seasons on loan, 37 appearances, two goals — and now it’s done.

The Crystal Palace midfielder posted his goodbye this week. “Two unforgettable years as a Ram,” he wrote. “I’ve loved every single moment of it. This club will always hold a special place in my heart.”

He’s been with Palace since he was eight. Made his Premier League debut at 17, youngest the club had ever fielded. Spent the last two years in the Championship getting regular football.

Now comes the bigger question. Ozoh was born in Valencia — eligible for Spain, England, or Nigeria. Super Eagles scouts have been watching. With the Unity Cup coming up, Nigeria are looking at him as a real option.

No decision yet. But the door is closing on the window.
