Shotzi to auction signed helmet for Tunnel to Towers at charity wrestling event
Major League Wrestling’s Shotzi will compete at Battle for the Brave, a charity pro wrestling event in Rahway, New Jersey, and has committed to donating a specially designated helmet worn during the show to be raffled off, with all proceeds directed to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
The event, organized by wrestlers Steve Maclin and Deonna Purrazzo, takes place at the Rahway Rec Center with a 7 p.m. ET start. Shotzi is scheduled to team with Priscilla Kelly against Emily Jaye and Tiara James. The wider card includes Matt and Jeff Hardy, Rich Swann, Amazing Red, Richard Holliday, Megan Bayne, and others. The Hardy brothers stated their participation was motivated by the foundation’s work supporting military personnel, first responders, and law enforcement injured in the line of duty.
Tunnel to Towers is a New York-based nonprofit established in memory of firefighter Stephen Siller, who died responding to the September 11, 2001, attacks. The foundation funds mortgage-free homes for catastrophically injured first responders and Gold Star families, making it a recurring beneficiary of events within the professional wrestling community.
Shotzi described the helmet auction as her personal contribution to the fundraising effort, crediting Maclin and Purrazzo for the organization of the event. No ticket or fundraising totals have been announced ahead of the show.
