Tijani Eyes Permanent Move After 8 Goals on Loan Set Him Free From Slavia Prague

Muhamed Tijani needed a run of games. He got them in Hungary — and now his future looks completely different.

The former Flying Eagles forward, 25, has been on loan at Nyíregyháza Spartacus since January. In 14 appearances he’s hit 8 goals and 3 assists. That’s the form that convinced clubs this was never a talent issue — just a minutes issue.

At Slavia Prague, minutes never came. He joined in 2023 and barely featured. The Czech club are now ready to sell permanently this summer, valuing him at around €300,000 and preferring a clean exit over another loan.

Nyíregyháza want him back. Other Hungarian clubs are circling. Plymouth Argyle — where he loaned previously in England — are also monitoring. Multiple Czech clubs are interested too.

Tijani has moved around a lot in three years. Stability is what changes everything now. Find the right club, stay, keep scoring — and Eric Chelle’s senior Super Eagles squad becomes a real conversation.
